Track gaps like a checklist
Keep a mental or written list of missing letters. When a pack opens, ask three questions:
- Is this letter missing from the board entirely?
- If not, is the duplicate worth keeping for any reason, or is it diamond fuel?
- Did this open change which upgrade I should buy next?
Mount missing letters immediately. Delayed mounting is the most common self-sabotage — players open five more packs while the income from the new letter sits unused.
Pack tier strategy
Letter packs climb Common → Mythic. Early gaps fall to volume: pack speed plus cheap opens. Stubborn late gaps often need luck and higher tiers. Structure sessions around that truth.
Early alphabet (many gaps). Favor pack speed and steady Common/Uncommon volume. Money upgrades keep the shop moving. Luck helps, but raw rolls matter more when half the alphabet is empty.
Mid alphabet (scattered gaps). Mix luck and pack speed. You still need volume, but each open should have a better shot at something new.
Late alphabet (few stubborn letters). Stack luck before premium opens. Save Mythic Packs from codes for this phase when possible. Review Upgrade Priority so you do not dump cash into money upgrades while luck is the real bottleneck.

- Prefer mounting coverage over rearranging vanity layouts while gaps remain.
- After a successful mount, reassess money/sec and buy the upgrade that shortens the next gap.
- When duplicates pile up for letters you already completed, convert them through Diamonds and Selling so completion progress also funds Symbol unlocks.
Soft pity from habits, not superstition
Collect The Alphabet does not ask you to invent superstitions. It asks you to show up. Word of the Day and weekly events add prizes that often include pack-like value. Players who only grind packs on weekends and ignore dailies finish slower than players who mix short daily claims with focused open sessions.

Twenty-minute gap hunt. Claim Word of the Day, buy pack speed if cheap, open as many affordable packs as possible, mount everything new, sell safe duplicates, stop.
Mythic night. Redeem codes if needed, push luck one or two levels, open Mythics and any saved high packs, mount carefully, bank diamonds, plan Symbol goals.
Economy reset. If money/sec feels stuck despite new letters, stop opening for a few minutes, spend on money upgrades, then resume. Sometimes the alphabet is fine and the shop was the wall.
After A–Z
When the alphabet is complete, your loop shifts. Opens produce more sell material than discovery. Diamonds accelerate. Symbol packs become the interesting pull. Keep a couple of spare letters only if you like flexibility; otherwise liquidate extras and read Symbol Packs for the next targets.
